We cannot do what we do without the generous financial support of our members and donors. We would be grateful if you were to add your name to our supporters.

Turn your daily shopping into free donations! easyfundraising partners with over 8,000 retailers who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice. It won’t cost you any extra. The cost is covered by the retailer.

Hold a local or work fundraising event

The original and the best ways of bringing people together – run a cake sale, do a fun run, arrange a litter pick – whatever it is, however much you raise, we will be grateful for every penny.

Whatever you’re planning, do make sure that you are keeping within local regulations and have adequate insurance. While we welcome the support, in the unlikely event that something were to go wrong, we are unable to cover any liabilities or take any responsibility.

Remember us in a legacy

Legacy bequests, otherwise known as leaving a gift in your will, are a way for you to continue to support wader and shorebird conservation when you’re no longer around. If you wish to remember Wader Quest this way, please make your wishes known to your solicitor or other legal professional when drawing up your will.

Sponsor an event, publication, or grant fund

Sponsoring our talks, publications and other activities enables us to do more. You will also receive recognition and a platform as part of each sponsorship. Sponsor a grant application, and we will match fund it up to £1000.

The sponsorship fee would be at a discount for corporate members. Sponsorships would be open to non-members, in line with the Ethical Partnerships Policy.

Donate old stock or equipment

Do you make or sell equipment, or have old stock that you haven’t sold and is now just sitting on your asset list in a warehouse. Providing it is in good condition, ideally in original boxes; donate it to us, and we will realise the funds from your old stock, saving good items from going for disposal, enabling more people to engage with your brand, all the while supporting Wader Quest.

Give as you earn (GAYE)/Payroll Giving

Payroll giving allows your employees to give to charity directly from their pay before tax. This reduces the amount of tax they pay and means they can afford to give more. Payroll giving provides you with insight into the causes your people care about – so you can offer teams or individuals opportunities to do more with support from your company. And unless you’re looking to pay your employees’ admin fees for giving, Give As You Earn needn’t cost you a penny.

There are a number of different organisations that can assist with setting up payroll giving, all of which are independent of Wader Quest and we cannot provide recommendations for providers.
